Mental Health Counseling Services

Behavioral Health Services

Wellness Home Behavioral Health Services provides supportive outpatient counseling for chidlren and adults ages 12 and older. Our goal is to help each client feel heard, understood, and supported while working toward emotional wellness and daily stability.

What to Expect

Counseling begins with getting to know you, your concerns, your strengths, and your goals. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include talk therapy, coping skill development, emotional support, education, and coordination with other care providers when appropriate.

Our services are person-centered, family-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented. We focus on practical tools, supportive relationships, and whole-person wellness for the mind, body, and soul.

Substance Use Support

When substance use concerns are present, our team can provide support, screening, counseling, care coordination, and referrals to additional treatment resources when specialized services are needed.

Neurological Testing and Neurofeedback

Neurological Testing and Neurofeedback

Wellness Home Behavioral Health Neurological Testing assists patients and providers in identifying conditions such as Vascular Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Epilepsy, Anxiety, ADHD, Memory Loss, Depression, Sleep Disorders and Mild Cognitive Decline.

What is Neuropsychology?

Neuropsychology looks at how the brain affects how we think, feel, and behave. Through testing, we assess attention, memory, learning, and other thinking skills to better understand concerns like ADHD, learning difficulties, HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND), and dementia.

Why Get an Evaluation?

These evaluations help clarify what’s going on. Whether it’s trouble focusing, changes in memory, or academic difficulties, testing helps lead to answers. Most importantly, we provide clear, specific recommendations—like classroom or workplace accommodations, strategies for daily life, or referrals for services—to help people function at their best.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

TMS is an electrical current flowing through a stimulating coil that generates brief but powerful magnetic pulses, inducing an electric field in the brain sufficient to depolarize cortical neurons and activate neural networks.

Electric fields are used in various brain stimulation techniques, such as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS), using direct or alternating current. In TMS, magnetic fields induce intracranial electrical fields using electromagnetic induction. This is based on Faraday’s Law.

TMS is an FDA-approved therapy that is most commonly used to treat depression, especially for individuals who have not experienced improvement with traditional treatments.
